More of Your Construction Project Managed by One Team

At Carter Eli Construction, we believe a well-run project starts long before construction begins. It takes careful planning, the right people, and the ability to keep each stage connected. That is why we have built our construction company to handle more of the process within one team.

Founded in 2012 by Simeon Littlejohn, Carter Eli Construction brings over 16 years of industry experience to residential and commercial projects. Today, more than 50 people work across our operation, giving us the manpower to take on substantial builds while maintaining hands-on oversight from planning through completion.

Our capabilities start at the drawing board. We hold house design and computer drafting capabilities and have a licensed architect on our team. That allows design decisions to stay connected to the practical requirements of construction. When the property itself needs preparation, we can put our own heavy equipment, including bulldozers, to work on site grading.

Bringing these resources together reduces the number of separate parties our clients may need to coordinate. It also helps us keep decisions, schedules, and fieldwork connected as the project progresses.

We apply that approach across custom homes, design-build projects, commercial new construction, whole-house remodeling, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, tenant build-outs, roofing, exterior improvements, outdoor living spaces, and other construction work.

Simeon remains involved in the business and takes project planning and customer satisfaction seriously. We focus on understanding what needs to be built, organizing the work carefully, and putting the people and equipment in place to keep it moving without sacrificing attention to detail. Our workmanship is also backed by a two-year warranty after the work is complete.

The Principles Behind How We Plan and Build

Our Values

Hands-On Involvement

Hands-On Involvement

We believe project oversight should be active, not distant. From early planning through construction, we stay involved in the decisions and details that affect how the work comes together. That means understanding the scope, coordinating the people involved, monitoring progress, and addressing questions as the project moves forward.

Owner Simeon Littlejohn remains involved in the business and cares about planning projects carefully and leaving customers satisfied with the finished work. That mindset carries into how our team approaches residential and commercial construction.

Hands-on involvement also helps us keep communication tied to what is actually happening on the jobsite. Instead of treating planning and construction as disconnected stages, we work to keep them aligned. Whether we are managing a custom home, renovation, commercial build, roofing project, or exterior improvement, our approach is built around knowing what needs to happen next and keeping the work moving toward completion.

Planning Before Building

Good construction begins with a plan that works beyond the drawing board. Our house design and computer drafting capabilities, combined with a licensed architect on our team, allow us to consider both design goals and practical construction requirements as a project develops.

Keeping those resources within the same operation can reduce the handoffs that happen when clients must coordinate separate designers, architects, and builders. It gives our team a clearer connection between what is planned and what eventually needs to be constructed in the field.

That same preparation continues when site work is involved. We have our own heavy equipment, including bulldozers, for grading when a project requires it. By connecting design considerations, site conditions, and construction planning earlier in the process, we can organize the work around the realities of the property. The goal is simple: make thoughtful decisions before they become expensive or time-consuming problems during construction.

Resources to Keep Work Moving

A construction schedule depends on more than promises. It takes people, coordination, equipment, and active management to keep work progressing. Carter Eli Construction has grown to more than 50 team members, giving us the manpower to handle substantial residential and commercial projects while maintaining efficient timelines.

We also own heavy equipment that can support site preparation and grading instead of automatically adding another outside provider to the process. Combined with our drafting capabilities and in-house architectural resources, that gives us more control over key stages of a project.

We use those resources to support an organized approach rather than rushing the work. Crews still need clear direction, construction details still matter, and each stage needs to be completed correctly before the next one moves forward. Our focus is on putting the right resources behind the project so progress comes from preparation and execution, not shortcuts. Our workmanship is backed by a two-year warranty.

Meet the People Behind the Projects

Carter Eli Construction is powered by more than 50 people working across the planning and construction process. Our team brings together design resources, architectural capabilities, field crews, and the manpower needed to take projects from early ideas to completed work.

Simeon Littlejohn founded Carter Eli Construction in 2012 and remains actively involved in the business. His approach centers on careful planning, direct project involvement, efficient timelines, and making sure customers are satisfied with the work being completed.

Behind that leadership is a larger team equipped to handle residential and commercial construction. With an in-house licensed architect, house design and computer drafting capabilities, construction crews, and access to company-owned heavy equipment, we can coordinate more stages of a project without relying on a long chain of separate providers.

Together, our people and resources allow us to approach each job with a clear plan and the ability to put that plan into action.
